BOSU/Disc

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "I suffered from a herniated disc since my early days of military service. After going to several chiropractors over the years, they told me that there was nothing they could do besides surgery. I was skeptical to try "another" chiropractor. I must say that Dr. Ryan has helped me tremendously. I am now pain free and she has found the underlying problem which is another thing that she is helping me with. If you are as skeptical about chiropractors as I was, I would highly recommend Dr. Ryan."
